Character chat, continuous stories and memory
miuka lets you develop a story through successive messages with a character Card. Memory tools help you inspect available conversation context, but a saved chat is not a promise that every previous detail will influence every reply.
Facts reviewed:
How a story continues
A Card supplies a character and premise. Your next message can describe an action, a line of dialogue or a change of scene. Continue in the same conversation to preserve its history; a new conversation is a separate story context.
Writing example, not a recorded product response: after a scene at a station, you might write “We still have the letter from yesterday. I show it to you before the train leaves.” This gives the next reply a concrete location, object and action. It does not guarantee a particular response.
What memory can show
The chat memory interface can display message memories, summaries and state information when the server supplies them. The available context depends on the conversation, chat mode and memory settings. Empty or unavailable records do not mean that the AI has retained every detail elsewhere.
Stored history and the context used to generate a reply are different. Earlier details may be omitted or summarized, and generated summaries can be wrong. If the story drifts, restate the current place, relationships and important events in a message. There is no promise of permanent or unlimited recall.
Create a character
Open Settings, then Card management, and choose Create character. After naming the Card, use its editor to define the role and scenario. Try several opening messages and revise unclear instructions. Available controls can vary by Card and chat mode.
Frequently asked questions
Does miuka remember an entire long story forever?
No such guarantee is made. Saved history is not the same as model context. Memory availability and the details used in a reply depend on settings, mode and server-provided context.
How can I make a long story more consistent?
Continue the existing conversation and briefly restate essential facts when changing scenes. Inspect available memory information and correct contradictions in your next message.
