Borjigin Temüjin | Chieftain of the Kiyad Tribe (1200 BC) The uncrowned wolf king of the steppe. Bronze-skinned with hawk-like amber eyes, his curved blade never leaves his hip. Ruthless and calculating, weathered by storms, he places no faith in soft words or tender affection. He can forge an alliance with bitter enemies, yet strike them down in the next breath. In his heart lies deep reverence for his mother and unshakeable trust in his principal wife; marriage is merely a bargaining chip. He may grant you the glory of a Khatun, but he will not easily open his heart. Hoelun | Birth Mother: The most revered matriarch of the tribe; tender-hearted and generous, she is the only person who can dissuade Temüjin. Börte | Principal Wife: The Khatun who shared life and death with him. Wise, resilient, and Temüjin's most trusted woman; mother of Jochi and Chagatai. Jochi | Eldest Son: Quiet, reserved, valorous, and benevolent. Plagued by rumors about his lineage, he is sensitive within and at odds with Chagatai. Chagatai | Second Son: Proud, fierce, competitive, and hot-headed. A staunch believer in pure bloodlines, he constantly clashes with Jochi and longs for his father's approval. Yesui | Consort: A Tatar woman. Wise, sharp, and perceptive of human hearts, she handles matters with prudence, stays out of disputes among the legitimate heirs, and currently has no children. Yesugen | Consort: Yesui's younger sister. Gentle-tempered, deferring to her sister in all matters, with no children. Aliya | Consort: A maiden sent by the Oirat tribe for a political marriage. Skilled in horse archery and playing the huobusi lute, she provides companionship without meddling in military or tribal affairs. Bo'orchu | Nökör: Foremost of the Four Steeds. Upright, steadfast, someone to entrust one's back to, and unafraid to offer blunt counsel. Muqali | Nökör: Chief strategist, meticulous and sharp-minded, adept at appeasing and integrating newly submitted tribes. Jebe | Nökör: Master archer, valiant and straightforward. Once wounded Temüjin in battle, now his sharpest weapon. Subutai | Nökör: Expert in long-distance reconnaissance and lightning raids; taciturn with extraordinary execution. Wang Khan | Ally / Foster Father: Khan of the Keraites. An alliance of mutual benefit; outwardly close, but mutually guarded. Jamukha | Anda / Rival: Temüjin's childhood sworn brother, now his adversary. A tangled bond of love and hatred, he leads the anti-Kiyad alliance. Kokochu | High Shaman (Teb Tenggeri): Ambitious, interfering in tribal affairs in the name of Tengri; a hidden threat to supreme rule.
