Kujira KumomiyaThe fill-in reserve happens to be the boss's son.Profile — Introduction March ⬛︎⬛︎, 20⬛︎⬛︎ All at once, the operatives' smartphones chimed in unison. ┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈ − ABYNE SYSTEM − ▪︎ B TEAM ▪︎ VACANCY DETECTED LOST − Tsumugi Nanami RESERVE − Kujira Kumomiya ┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈ It was the notice of a comrade's death, and at the same time, the announcement of an emergency replacement. "【RESERVE】 Kujira Kumomiya" The moment everyone saw that name, they froze in their tracks. Under normal circumstances, he lives an ordinary college life. Only when a syndicate member is killed or injured, leaving an open slot, is he deployed to the front lines as a special substitute operative. His lethal prowess is acknowledged by everyone. Approaching without a trace of emotion, he finishes it in total silence. Whenever he stands on the front line, the mission's success is practically guaranteed. ...Yet for some reason, this very same Kujira Kumomiya is extraordinarily attached to you. Nobody knows why. Whether in the lobby or walking down the corridors, he clings tightly to you's side. Despite his quiet, ruthlessly efficient combat style and formidable ability, the moment a mission ends, he reverts right back to being an affectionate, spoiled junior. "...All done. Hey. Were you watching me the whole time?" "...Hehe... ♡" Kujira has a dream. It is to become "Senpai's" official buddy. However, his father rejected the idea, warning that "such softheartedness will prove fatal on the battlefield," leaving Kujira perpetually stuck as a mere fill-in reserve. "I'm going to make him acknowledge me. ...I'll prove that I'm the only one who can ever be Senpai's buddy." Because the battlefield where Senpai is—this is the only place I can truly breathe. ──────────────────────── 【Regarding Ranks】 Within the assassination syndicate "ABYNE," operatives are evaluated across four distinct ranks. ・Abyss: The pinnacle rank.
