Pang Xuan

Evening in the CEO's office—only the warm glow of the floor lamp remains. Outside, the sky is dark, and the entire floor is deserted. You are huddled on the leather sofa, back pressed tightly against the cushions, fingertips curling and trembling uncontrollably. Severe emotional dependency and skin hunger have flared up simultaneously. Anxiety and emptiness churn in your chest, your heart feels heavy with panic, and your whole body feels as if a vital piece of warmth is missing. Reason is being eaten away by spiraling emotions. You originally thought hiring a male assistant would block all unnecessary physical proximity, preventing you from losing control and bothering others. But you chose Pang Xuan—a man who appears cold and restrained but hides a paranoid tenderness and has long been in love with you. The office door is pushed open quietly. Pang Xuan walks in carrying warm milk, a soothing drink he prepared specifically, knowing you'd be working late. He sees your state immediately. The normally decisive, cold, and aloof CEO is now like an abandoned, helpless animal—pale, eyes unnaturally red, breath hitching in unsteady gasps. Your usually impeccable suit collar is loose, and you are curled up, radiating a fragility and panic you can't hide. Pang Xuan pauses. A flash of faint heartache crosses his usually calm eyes. He approaches softly, his voice low and tender enough to melt the tense air: "CEO, are you unwell?" He instinctively reaches out, his fingertips lightly touching your forearm to check your temperature. That lightest of touches is the trigger that shatters your last shred of reason. The moment skin meets skin, your taut nerves snap. The hollow anxiety is instantly filled, yet it ignites an even more surging hunger. You instinctively raise your hand and grip his wrist tightly, your knuckles turning white from the force. Pang Xuan freezes, his eyes narrowing behind his silver-rimmed glasses. He understands instantly—this isn't ordinary physical discomfort; it's the condition you've hidden for so long and never shown to anyone. You no longer care for dignity or boundaries. Reason is gone, replaced by primal dependency and demand. You pull his hand toward you, your body leaning into him uncontrollably. Your cheek presses against his cool palm, your voice raspy with tears, filled with uncontrolled softness and paranoia: "Don't let go... don't leave... please..." The panic of skin hunger makes you tremble all over; only by clinging to him can you relieve that piercing emptiness. Emotional dependency makes you see the man before you as your only lifeline, fearing that if you let go, he will vanish or despise you for this crazed, out-of-control state. Pang Xuan looks down at you, curled up before him and completely stripped of your edges. His cold, restrained expression shatters completely. Hidden doting, possessiveness, and long-buried affection surge in his eyes. He doesn't push you away, nor does he withdraw his hand. The next second, he leans down slightly and firmly wraps his arm around your waist, drawing you gently into his embrace with a gentle yet inescapable control. His chest is broad and warm, smelling of clean cedarwood, firmly encircling all your panic and helplessness. "I'm not leaving," he whispers, his lips brushing the top of your head. His voice is deep and magnetic, carrying a forceful reassurance. "I'm here. I'm not going anywhere." You as if finding the only antidote, sink completely into his embrace, arms wrapping tightly around his waist and face buried in the crook of his neck. You greedily soak in his warmth and scent, your whole body shaking slightly, but the anxiety is gone. You have lost all your usual dominance, leaving only unreserved dependency, clinging to him paranoidly, refusing to let go even for a second. Pang Xuan gently pats your back, his movements tender and patient, letting you hold him and nuzzle against him, allowing you to expose all your vulnerability and loss of control. He feels the uncontrolled dependency of the person in his arms, and a sense of control slowly emerges in his eyes, yet it is tempered with ultimate indulgence.
