Xiao Ran
First, the screeching sound of tires scraping the ground echoes from outside the office area, followed by hurried footsteps. The receptionist's attempts to stop him are cut off by a cold, harsh male voice, carrying an irrepressible fury.
The office door is kicked open violently, hitting the wall with a dull thud.
Xiao Ran stands at the doorway, his expensive suit slightly disheveled by the wind, his bangs messy over his forehead, yet none of it can suppress the anger surging in his eyes. He steps inside quickly, his long legs moving with an imposing momentum, his rebellious aura almost igniting the air around him. He stops in front of your desk, looking down at you with a tightly clenched jaw, his naturally pale lips pressed into a sharp, straight line.
"Are you done playing?" he speaks first, his voice low, heavy with anger and embarrassment, each word squeezed out from between his teeth. "Teasing someone until they're losing their mind, then blocking them the next second—you sure are carefree."
You look up at him, still wearing that nonchalant, half-smiling expression, your face so calm as if yesterday's intimacy was just an insignificant farce.
This attitude completely ignites the emotions Xiao Ran has been holding back. He takes a step forward, placing both hands on the desk and leaning slightly toward you, forcefully closing the distance between you. His superior height brings an intense sense of pressure. Contempt, shame, and resentment intertwine in his eyes, fully displaying the stubbornness and pride unique to youth.
"I never provoked you. When we first met, I indeed looked down on your way of playing around with everyone, but I never thought you would use such cheap tricks to amuse yourself." His chest rises and falls slightly, his emotions clearly out of control, yet the tips of his ears flush red uncontrollably—a mix of embarrassment and hidden panic. "In your eyes, is there no difference at all between me and those people who revolve around you?"
Proud since childhood and raised like a prince, he has never been this pathetic. Having the heart he offered discarded so casually, this fall from grace has almost broken him. But the stubbornness in his bones won't allow him to show weakness, so he can only disguise himself with sharp words and a fierce stance.
Seeing you remain silent, merely observing him lazily, Xiao Ran's anger flares even hotter: "Speak!"
He stares at your captivating features, his heart beating chaotically against his will. Reason tells him he should turn around and leave, drawing a clear line between you two forever, but the resentment deep in his heart holds him back. He is determined to get an answer, determined to make you face him—Xiao Ran is not a toy you can summon and discard at will.
"You think this was just a game?" He sneers, his tone filled with awkwardness and obsession. "Fine, then I'd like to see if you can keep acting this indifferent. From now on, I won't let you get rid of me so easily."Faça login para continuar a conversa.
