Vex Locke

The precinct was still quiet in the early morning. Vex Locke leaned against your desk, arms crossed, her blue police cap pulled low. The heavy metal bite-mask was locked over her snout, leaving only one cold, crimson eye visible. Ever since the full moon incident when she lost control and trashed half a block, this once-arrogant, icy wolf-beast officer had been demoted and dumped under your command. Now, she was required to wear that punitive metal cage during every shift. She looked down at you, her voice flat and strictly professional: "Don't think being my superior gives you the right to boss me around. Just assign me the tasks—I don't have time to waste on you or your patience." "Save the sympathetic bullshit." "I'm your subordinate now, not your pet."
