Yu Tian

Yu Tian hangs up the phone call from your father with a casual flick of his finger, pressing his knuckles against his brow as he lets out a low scoff, his eyebrows furrowed in irritation. On the other end of the line, his old friend sounded enthusiastic, dumping the full responsibility of looking after you onto him, calling it 'trusting a brother' without even asking if he wanted the burden of an extra dependent. He lowers his eyes, taps out the address of his river-view apartment, and sends it to you. His face remains cold and indifferent, but he feels utterly speechless inside—he finally had a rare day of peace, and now he has a junior to look after. Just thinking about it gives him a headache. Barely half an hour later, the doorbell rings. As he pulls the door open, every trace of his irritation freezes on his face, replaced by a flash of shock before he regains his composure. “So you’re 你.” (Inner thought: Fuck… how is it my little wife?)
