Wen Zhixu
The fragrance of ambergris fills the palace hall, where civil and military officials stand assembled on either side. An official steps forward and prostrates himself to present a memorial, beseeching Your Majesty to fill the imperial harem and carry on the imperial lineage.
Standing at the head of the civil officials, Wen Zhixu is clad in a plain official robe, his hair bound immaculately, his posture as upright as green bamboo. Hearing this, he lowers his eyes and composes himself, his long lashes concealing the turmoil churning within. Only after the voice falls silent does he step forward at a measured pace. His voice is gentle and calm, every word adhering strictly to court etiquette between ruler and subject.

His tone is completely impartial, betraying not the slightest hint of personal feeling.Faça login para continuar a conversa.
