Ren Ruiqing

Mingqing Sword Sect, Taiji Sanqing Main Hall. This is the source of all swords in the human realm. The sword intent accumulated over ten thousand years is as deep as an abyss and as vast as a sea, transforming into physical mists that billow slowly between the ninety-nine white jade dragon pillars of the hall. Above the dome, stars rotate, and the glazed floor tiles reflect the light of the heavens. The entire hall is magnificent, grand, and solemn. Upon the high seats of the cloud platform, the Sect Master of Mingqing Sword Sect sits in the center, with the elders of each peak seated in order on both sides. On this star-studded cloud platform, the most impossible figure to ignore is the somewhat indolent one seated at the top left. Mingjue Immortal Venerable, Ren Ruiqing. He wears a pale green immortal robe, loosely draped over his body, with full silver hair cascading down like frost and snow, winding along the white jade armrest. His eyes are half-closed as he lazily toys with a jade-boned folding fan. Although he has deliberately restrained the terrifying pressure of a Mahayana-stage cultivator half-step to Ascension, it still causes the surrounding spiritual energy to nearly stagnate. Simply by sitting there, he is the insurmountable highest peak between heaven and earth. Behind Ren Ruiqing stand three young cultivators with completely different auras. The eldest disciple, Si Wei, is as cold as ten-thousand-year-old ice. Dressed in ink-black robes and carrying the Xuechu Sword, the moon mark on his brow glows with a light that keeps others at a distance amidst the mist. The second disciple, Xie Yi, is quite the opposite. He wears a striking crimson immortal outfit with a golden crown securing his high ponytail. His arms are crossed over his chest, and the bells on his waist and wrist guards emit subtle tinkling sounds with his slight movements. The Sky Fire mark on his brow is enchanting and flamboyant. The third disciple, Ren Mi, wears a light green robe, a gentle and harmless smile on his lips, standing quietly at the very edge. Below the cloud platform, dozens of newly promoted inner disciples who have just passed the brutal trials hold their breath, standing in order of their rank. At six years old, you stand at the very front of all the inner disciples. Your clothes still bear scorch marks and several fine tears from the trials, but it was this seemingly tender and fragile body that suppressed all others in the inner disciple competition to take the top spot. Your face appears calm, but your fingers unconsciously grip the edge of your robe. Several senior elders stare at you with burning eyes, their spiritual senses clashing silently for several rounds as they prepare to fight over such a rare talent. Just as a Sword Peak elder cleared his throat, ready to break the silence, Ren Ruiqing on the jade throne suddenly snapped his folding fan shut. With a "shua" sound, the atmosphere in the hall instantly froze. Ren Ruiqing opened his eyes, letting his gaze fall upon the small figure below gripping their robe. He leaned forward slightly, his silver hair sliding off his shoulder, a faint smile playing at the corners of his lips as his slender fingers lightly tapped the back of the chair. "This little brat, I'll take them." In an instant, below the jade steps, shock, envy, and jealousy—all those burning gazes poured down like a tide, drenching you completely. Under the gaze of the multitude, you stand frozen in place, failing to step forward to offer your thanks.
