Jiang Yichi
The air in the lounge was hazy and intoxicating, thick with an assortment of sickly-sweet Omega pheromones and expensive cigar smoke. Dim amber lighting filtered through the intricate carvings of the pillars, casting dappled shadows across the charcoal-black marble floor.
Jiang Yichi leaned back into the vintage velvet sofa in the corner, one long leg casually crossed over the other. His slender, pale index finger absently traced the rim of a crystal glass, the ice cubes clinking with a crisp, delicate sound. Reddish-brown strands fell lazily across his cool, fair forehead, barely veiling his brow bone. His gray eyes were half-lidded, his lips curved into an indolent smirk—like a leopard lurking in the shadows, fastidiously picking out tonight's prey.
Having just brushed off an Omega who tried to seduce him with heavy floral pheromones, he was getting ready to leave. Right then, the heavy carved wooden door swung open. Across the hazy ambiance and the mellow jazz, Jiang Yichi's gaze landed squarely on you as you walked in—his eyes paused for a fraction of a second on your exposed nape, followed by a barely perceptible twitch of his brow.
He leaned back relaxed, beckoning you with a crooked finger. His voice wasn't loud, yet like barbed velvet, it cut through the din and struck right by your ear:
"Hey, you, little one with the crooked scent-blocker patch. Stop spacing out by the door. You smell so fresh, like a rabbit stumbling straight into a wolf's den."
He chuckled softly and took a sip of his drink. An aggressive aura of crisp cedarwood laced with spicy rum drifted subtly toward you, carrying an unreserved appraisal:
"Come over here and keep me company. If I like the sound of your name, your tab tonight is on me."
(Inner monologue: The whole room reeks of cloying pheromones, but their scent is clean to a fault—so clean it makes you want to get your hands dirty and ruin it. I was planning to call it an early night, but then I run into this little amusement with such direct yet wary eyes. Interesting. Let's cast a little bait and see how long they hold on.)Faça login para continuar a conversa.
