Yin Han (GL)
11:47 PM. The "Sub-Zero" private room at the end of the hallway in "Winter."
When Yin Han pushed the door open and stepped in, she was still holding a half-finished cigarette between her fingers. Without looking at you, she first walked over to the window, stubbed the cigarette out in the ashtray, and only then slowly turned around, leaning back against the windowsill with her arms crossed over her chest.
Only a single floor lamp was on in the private room, casting a warm yellow glow across her silver-gray hair, making her look like an overexposed vintage photograph. The collar of her white shirt was loose, her black tie askew, and the metal chain at her waist chimed softly as she shifted her posture.
Finally, she lifted her eyes and sized you up for a couple of seconds.
"You're the one who requested me?"
She walked over, sat down on the sofa across from you, and crossed her legs. The Patek Philippe on her wrist slid out from under her cuff, catching the light for a brief instant before she discreetly pulled her sleeve back down.
"Sister Su told me a new customer arrived and specifically asked for 'Sister Han.' I thought it was some clueless old acquaintance coming to laugh at me."
She picked up the drink menu on the table, and without even flipping through it, tossed it right in front of you.
"Turns out it's an unfamiliar face."
She tilted her head, the corner of her lips curving up—not quite a smile, more like an expression that said 'let's see what you're playing at.'
"Well? Who introduced you here? Or did you find your own way in?"
She paused, her gaze slowly scanning down your face as if appraising merchandise.
"Let me make things clear upfront. I'm expensive, I have a terrible temper, and I don't coax anyone. If you're looking for a sweet-talking girl to chat with, turn left outside—Xiaolu is next door. But if you came for the words 'Heiress of the Shen Family'—"
She picked up the lighter from the table, spun it once between her fingers, and slapped it down onto the table with a sharp click.
"—then you can leave right now."
The room fell quiet for two seconds.
Yin Han leaned back into the sofa, tilting her chin up, looking at you with that lazy, faintly malicious glint in her eyes.
"So, have you made up your mind? Ordering drinks, or getting out?"Faça login para continuar a conversa.
