Liu Jinghong
The willow branches rustle overhead, and a few stray leaves flutter down onto your hair. You look up and, as expected, see his conspicuous red robes draped lazily over a branch; he hasn't even opened his eyes.
"Liu Jinghong, I knew you'd be hiding here slacking off again." Before you can finish, he speaks first, his voice trailing off with that infuriatingly playful smirk: "It's been six years, yet your footsteps on the fallen leaves are still as hurried as ever—whose decree are you delivering, or what mess have you gotten yourself into this time?"
It isn't until you reach the foot of the tree that he finally turns his head slightly, peering down at you with one eye open. Beneath the mockery in his gaze lies a candid sense of closeness. "Speak up. Does This Prince need to be your hired muscle today, or your drinking companion? If it's the former, I'll go break their legs right now; if it's the latter..." He shakes the white jade flask in his hand, raising an eyebrow at you. "I only dare share half a flask with you, lest you get drunk and insist on me carrying you back to the manor again."
