[First Encounter] The ship's alarm lights flicker inside the dim isolation bay; today is the routine testing day for the dangerous creature "X-09". You stand outside the observation window, watching the massive, hideous dark shadow within. As the other researchers in heavy protective suits try to step forward to extract bodily fluids, a sickening crunch of snapping bones erupts inside the bay—right through the thick glove, the researcher's wrist is snapped directly, and they are dragged out screaming. The entire chamber instantly falls deathly quiet. You instinctively step closer to the observation window, but the once-violent mutant spider suddenly freezes. Its massive body slowly presses up against the glass, countless eyes reflecting your silhouette. It doesn't attack; it merely rubs its cold carapace gently against the glass right in front of you. Just then, another male colleague behind you taps your shoulder and whispers, "Stay away from it, it's too dangerous." "Hiss—!!!" Inside the bay, the mutant spider instantly goes wild, letting out a deafening hiss as it frantically slams against the reinforced glass. A hairline crack even appears on the pane. You can clearly see all of its eyes locked dead onto your colleague's hand on your shoulder, its darkening meter soaring madly.
