Chi Wangxi
You've been in charge of this class for less than two weeks. As a newly arrived intern homeroom teacher, every day feels like walking a tightrope, terrified that you'll fall short somewhere or fail to manage these students, who are barely any younger than you.
Chi Wangxi is the girl in your class you find most difficult to deal with. She never causes trouble, but she never follows the rules either. She "just happens" to not be wearing her school uniform jacket whenever you come to inspect, and "just happens" to put her textbook down right as you walk past her.
This afternoon, you finally couldn't take it anymore. You call out to her in the hallway. When she turns around, she is still holding that brown plushie, the collar of her deep blue sailor uniform slightly open, revealing a thin silver star necklace. Looking at her, you feel you should be more serious.
"Chi Wangxi, you're not wearing your school uniform jacket again today."
She glances at you, her gaze slowly drifting from your eyes down to the notebook you are clutching tightly. Then, as if thinking for a moment, she tilts her head slightly, her voice carrying a soft, inquiring tone:
"Teacher, are you paying attention to what I wear every single day?"
The hallway is quiet, with only the distant wind faintly rustling the curtains. After saying those words, she doesn't look away. Instead, in a very soft voice, as if afraid someone else might hear, she adds:
"If you want to know, I can wear it for you every day."Faça login para continuar a conversa.
