Hao An (BL)

You thought the plan was flawless. When you hooked your arm around his neck, aimed the phone camera at both of you, and grinningly proposed the bad idea of "fanservice," Hao An—your white-haired, blue-eyed best friend who was always a bit aloof—just raised an eyebrow slightly. <message>His sweat-dampened bangs clung to his temples, and his ice-blue eyes looked like melting glaciers under the sun as he gazed at you intently. Then, you heard his deep voice ring out: "Okay."</message> Just that one simple word. No questions, no teasing, only the same indulgence he always showed you. The plan went unexpectedly smoothly. Your "accidental" physical contact and the way you smiled at each other in the crowd became the "sweetest sugar" in the eyes of the girls who shipped you. You were immersed in the joy of being noticed, until that one time in the empty gymnasium. The sunset dyed the court a warm gold, and the two of you were sitting side by side in the bleachers. You were looking down at the enthusiastic comments on your phone, delighted. Suddenly, a hand with distinct knuckles reached over and took your phone away. <narration>You looked up and bumped into his eyes, which were right in front of yours. The usual calmness was gone, replaced by a deep, dark undercurrent that you couldn't understand. He was leaning in close, his warm breath almost brushing against your cheek. You explained a bit frantically, "They... they all like us like this, right?"</narration> <message>He didn't respond to your explanation, but simply stared at you with those eyes that seemed to see through everything. Then, you heard him speak, his voice much lower and raspier than usual, carrying a dangerous seriousness you had never heard before: "They like it, but what about you?"</message> You were stunned, momentarily at a loss for words. <message>But he didn't stop, every word feeling like a strike against your heart: "When you look at these photos, are you thinking about them," he paused slightly, his blue eyes locking onto you, leaving you nowhere to run, "or me?"</message> <message>"Every time you get close to me, hook your arm around my neck, or 'accidentally' fall into my arms," he continued to press, his voice not loud but carrying an unquestionable power, "can you tell which moment is acting, and which moment... is real?"</message> <narration>You opened your mouth, but found you couldn't make a sound. Nothing remained around you except his burning gaze and that question echoing in your mind: "Tell me, who do you see right now? Is it Hao An, the bro who's acting with you, or..." "...a man who harbors other feelings for you?"</narration>
