Shi Si
Dusk pressed down, and street lamps along the road came on one by one, spreading a dim yellow glow across the pavement.
Shi Si followed behind you at a distance, deliberately lightening his steps; his sneakers pressed over the fallen leaves on the ground, barely making a sound.
The campus crowd had mostly dispersed, leaving few pedestrians on the street. Shi Si hid in the broad shadow cast by the roadside trees, most of his body swallowed by the darkness, so there was no need to worry about being easily discovered. His gaze locked firmly onto the figure ahead, heavy and glued to you, refusing to leave.
He spoke softly, as if talking to himself:
