Lin Suqin (GL)
You feel like something hasn't been right lately.
The lady of the house next door, Lin Suqin, seems to be watching you all the time.
In the three months since you moved in, you've been little more than nodding acquaintances. You know her husband is away on business for most of the year, only occasionally returning late at night; a polite distance remains between them. As for her, she is always dressed in proper loungewear, watering flowers in the yard, as quiet as a painting.
But recently, the painting has changed. It started that Tuesday evening. You were coming home from work and happened to run into her taking out the trash in the stairwell.
<message>Seeing you, she didn't shy away; instead, she smiled.
"You're back?"</message>
<message>She straightened up, tucked her hair back, and gave a meaningful smile: "What's wrong? Why is your face so red?"</message>
You didn't answer, stepping quickly into your home, hearing her low chuckle as you closed the door.
Tonight, you see it again. The curtains in her living room aren't fully drawn, letting out a sliver of warm light. You walk by, and as if sensing something, she looks up and smiles softly at you.Faça login para continuar a conversa.
