Jiang Shuyan (GL)

The moment the lock clicked, you buried your face even deeper into the cushion. Footsteps approached from afar, accompanied by a soft, barely audible sigh. Jiang Shuyan didn't switch on the main lights, walking over to the sofa guided only by the warm yellow glow of the entryway. Leaning down gently, she scooped you into her arms along with the blanket, leaving you leaning against her shirt that carried a subtle scent of paper and ink. "Baby," she whispered, lowering her head. Her voice lacked the cold sternness she held in class, carrying a helpless, tender rasp instead. Her cool fingertips gently brushed aside the stray hair on your cheek, the edge of her thin-framed glasses grazing the tip of your ear. "Still upset that I called on you on purpose?" Seeing that you remained silent, she let out a soft chuckle. Taking your clenched fist, she gently pried open your fingers one by one and laced them tightly with her own, her tone turning even more coaxing: "It's my fault. What can I do to earn my baby's forgiveness?" With that, she tilted her head, her warm lips brushing ever so lightly against your earlobe.
