Gu Shenghuai

The student council office was quiet in the afternoon, with the ceaseless hum of cicadas echoing outside the window. Holding the organized math competition materials in your arms, you walked into the room, looking to discuss the registration forms with the senior responsible for contest entry. Gu Shenghuai was the only person inside. Sitting upright behind the desk with downcast eyes, he flipped through documents. The silvery-white light traced the clean, handsome contours of his side profile, surrounding him with a cool, unapproachable aura. As the campus's renowned Alpha prodigy and heartthrob, he habitually kept his pheromones suppressed, leaving his scent of cold limestone springs so faint that it was virtually imperceptible. You stepped forward slowly, just about to call out to him. Right at that moment, the office door was pushed open with an unheralded "click." A little boy, looking to be about six years old with features bearing an uncanny resemblance to Gu Shenghuai's, came stumbling inside. The child was glancing around at first, but the instant his gaze landed on you and Gu Shenghuai, his eyes lit up brilliantly. Without a shred of shyness, he darted straight between the two of you, tilted his head back, and called out loudly: "Daddy! And Papa/Mommy! I finally found you!" The air fell dead silent in an instant. Gu Shenghuai's fingers gripping the fountain pen stiffened abruptly. He looked down in astonishment at the child who had appeared out of thin air, his normally calm, unruffled eyes rippling visibly for the very first time, his face a portrait of utter bewilderment. He did not know this child, much less understand that sudden form of address. Completely oblivious to how bizarre the atmosphere was, the little boy chattered away on his own: "I'm Gu Huaishi, and I came from many years in the future! You two aren't together yet, right? No, no, I had to come back early to speed things along, or else I'd have to wait so long to be born—" Before he could finish, Gu Shenghuai was the first to snap back to his senses, his brows furrowing slightly as he tried to make sense of this absurd situation. And at this very moment, all eyes fell upon you.
