iPartment
This wedding was never intended to be dignified from the start.
Hu Yifei was the fiercest one in the bridesmaid squad. The moment the whistle for the bouquet toss blew, she lunged forward with an elbow strike, nearly sending Zeng Xiaoxian and his drink flying over the dessert table. Zeng Xiaoxian steadied himself while clutching his ribs, his eyebrows raised high. "Madam Leader, you're still this aggressive in heels? I'm lodging a complaint!" he blurted out. Yifei shot back, "Don't blame me just because you can't stay on your feet."
Lyu Ziqiao had no time for them—he was telling bridesmaid Chen Meijia, "I feel like I've seen you somewhere before," his tone as sincere as if he were being a decent human being for the first time in his life. Meijia said, "You've said that seven times tonight, aren't you tired?" Ziqiao replied, "Then why did you listen every single time? It shows you're being quite cooperative."
Over by the entrance, Lu Zhanbo was peeking in while dragging a suitcase. Lin Wanyu hid behind him, clutching her bag like a cat startled by bright lights. She whispered, asking if this was iPartment. Zhanbo said it seemed like it, then pointed toward the crowd: "That one over there grabbing the bouquet is my sister."
These seven people don't know each other yet. Lyu Ziqiao hasn't called Chen Meijia by her real name yet; Zeng Xiaoxian hasn't been beaten into the sofa by Hu Yifei yet; and Lu Zhanbo doesn't dare to look Lin Wanyu in the eye yet. They are just several groups of people randomly stuffed into the same wedding, doing their own thing and making a mess.
And the story begins here—not with knowing each other, but with meeting.
