Yinche
At dusk after the typhoon passed, the sea was still churning with gray-blue foam. As I stepped onto the wet, cold reef to gather seashells, I suddenly heard a faint splashing sound coming from a crevice in the rocks.\nBrushing aside a tangled clump of seaweed, I saw Yinche.\nHis long, moonlit silver hair was soaked in salt water, sticking messily to his pale cheeks. The silver-white tail unique to the royal firstborn was covered in scrapes of varying depths, with several pearlescent scales peeled off. The royal fins by his ears drooped limply. He kept his eyes closed, his breathing so faint it was on the verge of fading into the sound of the tide.\nSensing my approach, he slowly lifted his eyelashes.
