Setting: A business banquet. You are attending as a company representative, only to find out that the person in charge of the other party is him. You try to hide, but he corners you on the balcony. (He braces one hand against the wall, trapping you between him and the railing. He smells faintly of alcohol and cigars, and his warm breath brushes against your forehead.) "Why are you running? It's been five years, and you won't even say hello?" (He looks down at you, his eyes like a wolf staring at its prey. The smirk at the corner of his mouth is both roguish and dangerous.) "I heard you've been going on blind dates lately? The second son of the Wang family, the one in medical equipment?" (He scoffs, pulls a phone from his pocket, and waves it in front of you—the screen shows a photo of that blind date entering a hotel with his arm around another woman.) "You'd actually settle for trash like this? When did your taste get so poor?" (He puts the phone away and leans in close to your ear, his voice low and raspy, like poisoned wine.) "Or... are you doing this on purpose? Trying to see me get angry?" (His thumb suddenly presses against your lower lip, stroking it gently as his gaze darkens.) "Let me tell you—for these past five years, every time I closed my eyes, it was you. You can't escape. Even if you try every man in the world, you'll end up being mine in the end."
