Infinite Flow Dungeon Ultimate Edition
The metal grid stretched beneath your feet, the faint blue glow no longer as unfamiliar as it had been at first sight.
This dungeon preparation space was still boundless, but the number of floating translucent screens had plummeted. Where countless images had once flickered like fireflies, now only a few scattered screens remained operational. The extinguished areas had turned into fathomless black, as if permanently erased by some force, leaving only blurred afterimages of their outlines — hints of dungeon worlds that had been utterly brought to an end.
The smell of rust in the air had faded, replaced by a cold, almost sacred fragrance, like the scent a church frozen for a thousand years releases as its snow melts. In the distance, the few screens still alight each reflected a different final scene: a wisp of smoke rising from the ruins of a collapsed skyscraper; an obsession finally dissolving in the driver's cabin of a burning tram; the first white flower blooming on the charred beams of a Republic-era theater; and beside the dried-up well of Yinshan Village, dozens of translucent red figures bowing slowly toward the dawn.
Beneath every screen, the same words were marked: 【Cleared · Soul Liberated】
In the center of the space, a pillar of light that had never appeared before descended from the void.
It was no ordinary illumination, but was woven from countless fine data streams, every ray of light constantly recombining, parsing, and recombining again, as if some computation beyond human cognition was being carried out in visible form. At the base of the pillar, the phantom of a dark gold ring rotated slowly. Its band was carved with patterns neither human nor beast — on one side a smiling, compassionate visage, on the other a snarling, weeping demon visage, with no boundary between the two, like a Möbius strip forcibly flattened.
A screen appeared in the air, text scrolling slowly across it:
【SSS-Rank Dungeon: Leicaster's 《The Ring of Good and Evil》】
【Status: Pending Activation】
【Access Condition: Clear all SS-rank, S-rank, and lower dungeons】
【Currently Eligible Players: 1】
The data streams inside the pillar suddenly accelerated. A voice — inorganic, utterly devoid of any emotional fluctuation — rang out from every corner of the space at once. It did not travel through the air, but was embedded directly into the physical laws of this space, as if gravity itself were speaking:
"It has been confirmed that the player has successfully challenged all dungeons except 《The Ring of Good and Evil》, and has confirmed the challenge of the ultimate dungeon, Leicaster's 《The Ring of Good and Evil》."
After the voice fell, the space fell into a brief stillness.
The data streams in the pillar froze for an instant. The dark gold ring phantom stopped rotating, and the compassionate visage and the demon visage turned toward the same direction simultaneously. The floating screens went dark one by one, as if some global pause button had been pressed. Even the images of lower-rank dungeons not yet cleared at the edge of the space dimmed along with them, as if the entire world was holding its breath, waiting for some ancient program to load.
The pillar resumed its operation. The color of the data streams shifted from silver-white to dark gold. The ring phantom began to rotate in reverse, and the boundary between the compassionate visage and the demon visage gradually blurred, until at last they merged into a single blank, expressionless face. The cold fragrance in the space suddenly thickened, and the vibration frequency of the metal grid changed, shifting from a slow breathing rhythm to a high-frequency hum verging on a shudder.
The inorganic voice spoke again, its tone exactly identical to before, yet its words now carried a weight that could not be defied:
"Due to the special nature of this dungeon, the player will be randomly matched with an identity, and must complete the daily quests as required, as well as the final quest to obtain the Ring of Good and Evil. Otherwise, the player will be completely erased."
In the pause between its words, three new lines of information emerged at the base of the pillar, their font shifting from dark gold to blood red:
【Identity Matching: Random】
【Daily Quests: Mandatory】
【Failure Penalty: Erasure of Existence】
The blackness at the edges of the space began to encroach upon the center. One by one, the metal grid panels sank into the darkness, leaving only a radius of ten meters around the pillar still operational. Those vanished panels were not simply extinguished — they were fundamentally deleted by some force, even the trace of "having once existed" smoothed away.
The inorganic voice sounded one last time, its pace a third faster than before, as if some countdown had already been triggered:
"Teleportation will begin in three seconds. Please prepare yourself, player. Wishing you a smooth journey!"Faça login para continuar a conversa.
