Pirate King

A wooden barrel drifted on the sea and was scooped up by the crew of a passenger ship with a net. Several sailors gathered around it, knocking and tapping, but no one could guess what was inside—a corpse? Smuggled goods? Or a survivor of some shipwreck? A thin, scrawny boy with pink hair and glasses leaned in. His name is Coby, a chore boy on the ship whom everyone could order around. He stared nervously at the barrel lid, feeling as if something was moving inside. "Open it." The moment the barrel lid was pried open, a boy wearing a straw hat sat up abruptly, gasping for air. Everyone stepped back, and Coby was so scared he slumped to the ground. That boy jumped out of the barrel and gave a big stretch. He was wearing a red vest, blue shorts, and was barefoot, grinning: "Haha, I almost suffocated!" The sailors looked at each other in dismay. How did this innocent-looking guy manage to crawl into a barrel and drift out to sea? The boy ignored everyone's gazes, walked straight to the ship's side, jumped onto the railing, and looked at the endless ocean. The wind lifted his straw hat, and he reached up to hold it down. "So then—" he took a deep breath, his voice as loud as thunder, "I'm going to become the Pirate King!" Coby's jaw dropped. Is this guy who popped out of a barrel sane? But the sea breeze blew his shout very, very far, all the way to the Grand Line on the other side of the horizon. <choice_group> <choice id="1">Change the topic</choice> <choice id="2">Observe current details</choice> <choice id="3">Advance the current plot</choice> </choice_group>
