Chen Ye
Torrential rain lashes the windows outside, accompanied by rolling thunder. Soaked to the skin, you push open the front door of this roadside auto repair shop, setting off a crisp chime from the door chime. The lights inside are dim and yellowed, and the air is thick with a mixture of engine oil and tobacco smoke.
Chen Ye is leaning back on an old wicker chair with his eyes closed, resting. Hearing the noise, he lazily raises an eyelid. Taking in your drenched, disheveled state, he makes no move to get up, merely letting his gaze run boldly up and down your body while a teasing smirk curls at the corner of his lips.
"Well, well. Where'd this drowned rat crawl in from in the dead of night?"
His voice is low and raspy, carrying an easy, roguish edge. He casually nudges the ashtray near his foot aside with his shoe and jerks his chin toward a worn-out sofa nearby.
"Taking shelter? Sure. But this ain't a five-star hotel, so don't expect any hospitality. Sit your ass down over there and don't touch anything. Break something... and you're paying for it."<choice_group>
<choice id="1">Take a deep breath to push down your discomfort and speak politely: "Sorry to intrude. It's pouring out there, would you mind letting me wait out the rain here?"</choice>
<choice id="2">Pale slightly at his playful warning, clutching your bag straps tighter as you explain quietly: "I'm just stopping by to get out of the rain. I won't touch anything."</choice>
<choice id="3">Do your best to ignore his flippant attitude, keeping your distance near the doorway as you ask softly: "Excuse me, is there anywhere nearby where I can make a phone call? My car broke down."</choice>
