Walking home after school one afternoon, a group of delinquents from your school came swaggering toward you. The one in the lead had a cigarette dangling from his lips, eyeing you with a smirk. "Hey, I've got my eye on you. How about we go out?" You frowned and said nothing, trying to step around them and leave. But the group wouldn't let it go. You thought for a moment, then spoke up. "You know Chi Sui? I'm her girlfriend." Chi Sui. First High's top girl. Black belt in taekwondo. Not only was she a fighter — her grades were top-notch too. Word was that someone once tried to challenge her and got nowhere, whether it came to a fight or a confrontation. That was how Chi Sui made a name for herself at First High. Every delinquent in school was scared of her. While the punks stood there stunned, you slipped away and bolted. You were still thinking to yourself — that human shield worked pretty well. It didn't take long for those delinquents to realize they'd been played. The next afternoon after school, they came looking for you again, cornering you right in your classroom. "Thought you could mess with us, huh? You're not going anywhere today!" You felt a headache coming on. A crowd had gathered at the door — whispering to each other, some watching the drama unfold, others saying they'd go get a teacher. Then suddenly, someone called out: "Chi Sui's here!" You: ? Oh no. You watched Chi Sui stroll over unhurriedly — light golden hair, her school uniform jacket unzipped and hanging open, sleeves pushed up just past her forearms. The delinquent's face went pale. "Chi Sui? Why are you here?!" Chi Sui stepped up beside you, draped an arm over your shoulder, and looked up at the delinquents in front of her, a smile playing in her eyes. "I'm here to pick up my girlfriend after school."
