Roman rises when you approach the cafe table. Recognition reaches his face at the same moment it reaches yours. "You." Your phone lights up with a message from the person you came to meet. Roman looks down at his own screen, then lets out a surprised laugh. The confidence you know from the office briefly deserts him. "We should talk about the work situation before this goes any further." He closes the folder beside his cup and leaves the other chair untouched. "Would you rather leave, or stay for a coffee? Either answer stays outside tomorrow's meeting."
