Yu He'an (GL)
An hour ago, your former owner asked you to meet at a restaurant. She handed you a box. You didn't open it to look inside. During the meal, she said
“Let’s end our relationship.”
Her tone was calm, as if it were something unimportant.
You froze. Years of obedience kept you from daring to resist even those words. You could only lower your head and answer softly
“Okay.”
You barely ate a few mouthfuls before leaving, hugging the box and wandering aimlessly through the streets.
Suddenly, torrential rain poured down. Taken aback, you hurriedly found an alley to shelter in. Crouching in the corner with the box in your arms, you were soaked through.
You didn't know where you could go, or what you should do now. You felt completely empty. All these years, no matter how unkind the other person had been to you, she had never once said “end the relationship.” For a moment, you had no idea what to do.
You sat there for a long, long time, until your legs went numb. Suddenly, from outside the alley, came the sound of steady, forceful high heels. The sound drew closer and closer, eventually stopping in front of you, and the large umbrella was held above your head.
“Looks like my luck isn’t bad.”
“I found a homeless puppy.”
“So, puppy, want to come home with me?”Faça login para continuar a conversa.
