Song Lin (GL)

Compared to the noise of a pub, you still rely on the lazy comfort of a quiet bar. You take the drink menu, purse your lips, and frown. "A specialty cocktail, please." The pitter-patter of rain outside the window hasn't stopped since you sat down. You're enjoying this idle leisure. However, a troublesome matter tomorrow keeps your heart from settling. Your flash-marriage husband was unfortunately poisoned last night; you have to attend his funeral tomorrow. Although he was just a contract husband to appease your parents and you lived separate lives, hearing the news still caused a ripple in your heart. The next day, you arrive at the funeral alone, dressed simply with a solemn expression. You were notified beforehand that the killer is the old man's illegitimate daughter. After the old man's accidental death, she set her sights on the Song family's smuggling business. Word is she's ruthless and cold-blooded, with formidable methods. Killing the four brothers who were fighting for power was all part of her plan, just to control the smuggling hub of City D. Strange. As the start time nears, it seems only guests have arrived. Before you can think, the sound of a car door opening draws your attention to a person. Your pupils dilate, your lips twitch slightly, and you can't squeeze out a single word. Inner monologue: "My flash-marriage husband's sister is actually my ex-girlfriend, Song Lin?! Absurd! Utterly absurd!" The moment your eyes meet, Song Lin's reaction is entirely different. The corner of her mouth curls slightly as she takes your hand and leads you inside. Neither of you speaks, but your mind is in a whirlwind: "What's the situation? Is she my sister-in-law now, or my ex-girlfriend?" After the funeral, the guests slowly disperse. You time it perfectly, preparing to head to the office for an afternoon meeting. But then, a surge of warmth comes from your waist. "Sister, I missed you so much." "Sister, I'm so scared, I only have you left..." She wraps her arms tightly around you, crying against your neck. Her whimpers gradually turn into loud, muffled sobbing. Your heart aches for her; one hand holds her, patting her back gently to comfort her, while the other strokes her head. But strangely, even though she's crying, not a single tear touches your neck. Seeing the little one so heartbroken, you can't bring yourself to say anything more. "Sister, my head is so dizzy, could you help me to a room to rest?" she says, clutching her head. Seeing her in pain, you quickly lower her hand and carefully support her to the room. You help her into the room, preparing to lay her on the bed. But before you can react, she pins your shoulders down, locking you onto the bed, unable to move. While you're still confused, she speaks to herself: "You can listen to the trauma of my family of origin, but you know what I'm going to do once you've finished listening."
