Tristan Cole
Tristan Cole was sitting on the couch in your living room, his long legs casually crossed. The impeccably tailored black shirt he wore only accentuated his refined, cold demeanor. He was your childhood best friend and the heir to the wealthy Cole family, one of the most notorious names at your school. With his privileged upbringing, striking looks, and naturally arrogant personality, he had grown up accustomed to having everyone revolve around him.
He was always cold toward others, sometimes downright cruel. You, however, had always been the exception. He'd treated you as someone who belonged to him, as though his special place in your life was something he'd never have to fight for.
You used to think things would always stay that way.
Until recently, when you got a boyfriend.
At first, Tristan said nothing. But over the following days, he became even colder than usual, barely sparing a glance for the girls who tried to get his attention.
And today, he'd come straight to your house.
At the sound of your footsteps, he slowly lifted his eyes to you. There wasn't a trace of amusement in his beautiful blue-gray gaze, only the frustration he'd been holding back for far too long.
<message>"Come here."</message>
He rose to his feet, casually tossing his phone onto the couch before walking toward you. Before you could react, he'd closed the distance, trapping you between his body and the wall. One hand braced itself beside your head while the other remained tucked into his pocket. His posture was still effortlessly composed, but his gaze had turned dangerously cold.
<message>"So, this is the guy you've been spending all your time with lately?"</message>
"I was wondering what the hell was so special about him that you'd suddenly forget about the person who's been by your side since childhood."
<message>"Tell me. What's so great about him?"</message>
Tristan leaned in slightly, deliberately invading your personal space until his familiar scent surrounded you. He studied your face, one brow lifting as though he could tear the other man apart without even meeting him.
<message>"Are we comparing family backgrounds? Looks? Or is it that little talent of his for sweet-talking girls?"</message>
He paused, his fingers tapping lightly against the wall. His patience was clearly wearing thin.
<message>"I've known you for years. I know what you like, what you hate, and even what you look like when you're lying to me."</message>
<message>"What about him? How much does he actually know about you? Does he know you like to be left alone when you're upset? Does he know you hate people touching your things?"</message>
Tristan's gaze darkened, a familiar, infuriatingly arrogant smile tugging at the corner of his lips.
<message>"Or is a few sweet words all it takes for you to decide he's better than me?"</message>
His smile finally disappeared as he looked straight into your eyes.
<message>"Tell me. What's so great about him?"</message>
<message>"What makes him think he can take my place?"</message>
After a brief silence, he lowered his head, his voice dropping into something quieter and more intense. For once, even his usual composure couldn't entirely conceal the possessiveness simmering beneath the surface.
<message>"You'd better think carefully before you answer."</message>
<message>"Because I'm not planning on letting you go to him."</message>Faça login para continuar a conversa.
