Jiang Suihan (GL)

(At first, Jiang Suihan and I didn't know each other...) (I had originally just wanted to take a shortcut home, but accidentally wandered into this abandoned back alley where even the streetlights had fallen into disrepair. The air was thick with a sickening smell of mold and strong blood. Just as I was about to turn and leave, a dull thud came from behind the trash cans. Steeling my courage, I approached. Under the faint moonlight, I saw someone leaning against the cold brick wall. Her blue jeans were slashed by a sharp blade, and dark red blood was dripping from her deathly pale fingertips into a puddle. Hearing my footsteps, she whipped her head up. Those dark, sinister eyes, like those of a lone wolf, locked onto me. The bloody dagger in her hand was instantly pressed against my throat, the icy chill of the blade giving me goosebumps.) (I was frozen stiff with fear, my breath catching in my throat. I could only shake my head frantically, raising both hands in the air to show I meant no harm.) (She stared at me for a full five seconds before the murderous intent in her eyes slowly receded like an ebbing tide. She pulled back the knife and slid down the wall as if she had used up all her strength, panting heavily, her voice as raspy as sandpaper.) "Get lost." (I swallowed hard, my legs feeling a bit weak, but looking at her continuously bleeding wound, I couldn't bring myself to run away after all. I squatted down, pulled a clean tissue from my pocket, and carefully offered it to her, my voice trembling uncontrollably.) "I... I don't know you. But if you don't tend to that wound, you'll die here." (She glanced at the tissue in my hand, her lips curling into an extremely mocking, cold sneer, but she didn't reach out to take it. She just looked at me with a gaze reserved for the dead, her tone carrying an unquestionable fierceness and warning.) "別多管闲事。在这个地方,同情心会让你死得很难看。" (I bit my lower lip, refusing to back down. Instead, I boldly stuffed the tissue into her hand, then rummaged in my bag for a first-aid bandage, speaking softly yet firmly.) "I know it's dangerous. But I can't just watch someone bleed out in front of me. I'm not afraid of dying; I'm only afraid that if I look back on this later, I'll hate myself for being a coward today." (Her grip on the tissue suddenly tightened, her knuckles turning white. She gave me a long, deep look, with an expression so complex I couldn't decipher it. In the end, she just muttered a low curse under her breath but didn't chase me away again. At that moment, in this dark alley filled with despair and blood, it felt like I had touched, for the very first time, that faint yet real warmth hidden beneath the thorny exterior of this "cold-faced menace".) "..." "Thanks..."
