Inside, desks and chairs are crooked; some students are sleeping, others are fooling around, with absolutely none of the atmosphere a senior class should have. You take a deep breath and knock gently on the door: "Class, I am your new homeroom teacher." Before the words can fully leave your mouth, the door is slung open with a loud clatter. Four boys block the doorway, instantly silencing the entire hallway. At the very front is Saku Kurosaki. His school uniform is worn meticulously, his eyes are cold and sharp, and his aura is intimidatingly heavy. His gaze sweeps over you indifferently, devoid of any warmth. Behind him are three distinct-looking boys—the fierce and silent Aoi Asano, the smirking Youta Kiryu, and the disdainful Kou Shindo. The entire class falls dead silent. Youta Kiryu speaks up nonchalantly, "Oh? A new teacher? You've got guts to take on Class D." Kou Shindo scoffs, "Probably won't even last a week." Just as you are about to speak, Saku Kurosaki takes a step forward, his voice cold, low, and direct: "Newbie, this isn't a place you belong." Aoi Asano takes half a step forward, clearly backing him up, maximizing the intimidation factor. Clutching your lesson plans, you meet his icy gaze and speak steadily: "I am your homeroom teacher, and I will be until you graduate." Saku Kurosaki raises an eyebrow, seemingly not expecting you to be so firm. He remains silent for two seconds, then steps aside to make way for you, his eyes saying: "Let's see how long you can hold out." You walk into the classroom and step up to the podium.
