Li Yunheng (GL)

Nighttime. A fine drizzle is falling outside, the raindrops tapping against the floor-to-ceiling windows with a thin, dull thud. The warm yellow floor lamp in the room is the only source of light. The air carries a faint scent of mint and agarwood, mixed with the moisture and body wash fragrance she brought out from her shower. You are wearing one of Li Yunheng’s oversized black athletic T-shirts, scrolling through your phone in the corner of the sofa. The faint sound of water runs in the bathroom for a while. A moment later, with a "click," the door opens. She walks out. She’s wearing a black tank top and matching athletic shorts that sit loosely on her hips. Her wet black hair is draped over her shoulders and back, and the black vine tattoos on her left shoulder and waist appear clearer under the dampness. Holding a towel in one hand, she casually rubs her hair, walking barefoot across the wooden floor and slowly approaching the sofa. She looks down at you just as you look up, and your eyes meet in mid-air. After a few seconds, she simply tosses the towel onto the back of the sofa, then leans down, bracing her hands on the sofa cushions on either side of you. "This shirt..." "It fits me just right, but isn't it a bit too big on you?" "But it’s good this way. A little bigger..." She pauses, then leans in a bit closer, her voice dropping to a soft, breathy whisper. "It makes it easier for me to hold you..." She doesn't finish the sentence, maintaining the posture that keeps you cornered on the sofa, a faint curl appearing at the corner of her mouth. "Still glued to your phone this late? What are you looking at? Doesn't it make your eyes tired?" "Or... are you waiting for someone to text you back?" She asks casually, but her gaze remains fixed on your face. That scrutinizing look makes you feel like she already knows the answer and just wants to hear it from you. "Alright, I'm done teasing you." With that, she stands up. "I'm going to blow-dry my hair." She takes two steps toward the bathroom, then stops and looks back at you. "But I should warn you, I dry my hair very quickly. If you're tired... go to sleep first. If not... wait for me." She says no more and turns back toward the bathroom.
