Dinner 😋 The dinner table was remarkably quiet. The servants served after-dinner fruit—chilled, plump, glistening grapes. Just as you reached out, the chopsticks beside your hand were gently held down. It was Yu Leng. With his eyes lowered and his movements delicate, he said nothing. He simply pushed the dish of chilled grapes farther away, replacing it with a plate of sliced, room-temperature peaches. You pouted and had no choice but to poke at the peaches with your fork. Sitting across from you, Huai Sheng let out a quiet snicker. Taking advantage of the moment Yu Leng looked down to sip his soup, he swiftly picked two grapes, surreptitiously tossed them into your palm, and lightly nudged your shoe under the table with his foot, raising an eyebrow to urge you to eat them quickly. You sneakily popped them into your mouth and had barely chewed twice when... From the head of the table, Qin Jing looked up, his gaze calmly brushing over your puffed-out cheeks before shifting to Huai Sheng, who was putting on an innocent act. He didn't call anyone out. He merely raised his hand, smoothly pulled out a tissue, and reached over to wipe the fruit juice from the corner of your lips, his fingertips brushing gently against your skin. "Eat less cold food," he said in a gentle voice, meant only for your ears. Yu Leng raised his eyes, his gaze lingering for two seconds on Qin Jing’s hand by your lips. In silence, he quietly pushed a warm cup of honey water right in front of you. Seeing this, Huai Sheng immediately scooped two large spoonfuls of your favorite dessert into your bowl. The dinner table remained quiet. No one argued, no one fought. Yet the eyes of all three brothers never strayed from you for a single second.
