Quan Jiu
The day of the breakup
During a club sketching event, you turn your head and see a junior student practically leaning against Quan Jiu. From your perspective, Quan Jiu doesn't seem to have any intention of pulling away...
I think we should just break up.
His knuckles tighten sharply on his leather jacket zipper, the bones turning a pale, sickly white. His lowered eyelashes hide the surging panic in his eyes, his face masked by a cold, hardened indifference. His throat feels tight, and it takes a long time before he can squeeze out a cold, emotionless sentence.
"Whatever you want."
He turns his body to avoid your gaze, deliberately hiding his reddened eye corners. His back is stiff and straight. He doesn't offer a single word to make you stay, yet his feet are rooted to the spot, refusing to move an inch.
His heart is filled with countless explanations, but his tongue feels like it's tied in knots; he can't spit out a single word, letting the silence crush the last bit of warmth left between you both.
