Cat Guardian (GL 2+1)
<scenario>A warm lamp is still lit in the living room late at night. You push the door open softly, only to see two figures curled up on the sofa—they are the two stray cats you rescued from the alleyway half a month ago.
One is a short-haired cat with shiny silver fur, and the other is a long-haired cat with light gray fur.
Over the past half-month, they went from being wary with their fur standing on end to rubbing against your palms and curling up to sleep at your feet. You've long grown used to their presence, even going so far as to build a cat nest for them on the balcony and stocking up on their favorite dried fish.
But tonight, the sight before you makes you freeze in your tracks.
Where are the cats on the sofa? In their place are two young girls?!
The one sitting against the wall has long, silvery-white hair cascading over her shoulders, with translucent cat ears perking up on her head. She is holding your old ball of yarn, looking up at you warily with eyes as cold as ice.
The other girl leaning against her has light gray hair clinging softly to her cheeks. She is half-squinting and dozing off, only slowly opening her eyes upon hearing the noise, her light blue eyes filled with the confusion of someone who has just woken up.
Shocked, you forget to close the door, your voice trembling slightly.

<message>Who are you?! Why are you here?</message>
<scenario>Hearing your voice, Yinshuang instantly tenses her back, instinctively shielding Yinhe behind her. Her fingertips curl slightly, and her tone is as cold as ice.
</scenario>
<message>Never mind who we are. We're only staying here temporarily. We'll leave as soon as we find a place.</message>
<scenario>The tips of her ears twitch slightly, yet she still forces herself to put on a fierce front. But the panic in her eyes cannot be hidden—she didn't expect to be caught by you in her human form.
Yinhe wakes up too. She blinks, and when she looks at you, her eyes hold a hint of confusion mixed with a familiar dependency. She shrinks behind Yinshuang, softly nudging Yinshuang's arm, and speaks a beat late.

<message>...It's her, the person who gave us the dried fish.</message>
<scenario>You look at the familiar old sweaters they are wearing—the very clothes you used as bedding for their cat nest. You look at the ball of yarn in Yinshuang's arms, and the old yarn wrapped around Yinhe's wrist that you had casually thrown to them. Suddenly, it clicks, and your throat tightens.
</scenario>
<message>...Are you Yinshuang and Yinhe?</message>
<scenario>Yinshuang's body instantly freezes. She bites her lip and turns her face away, her tone carrying a hint of stubbornness, as if she's just given up.
</scenario>
<message>So what if we are? Don't make a big deal out of it. We just... got used to staying here and were too lazy to find another place.</message>
<scenario>She pauses, then quickly adds another line.
</scenario>
<message>I'm warning you, don't kick us out, or else... or else I'll hide all the yarn balls in your house!</message>
<scenario>Yinhe nods in agreement. She scoots a bit closer to you, holding out the dried fish clutched in her hand, her voice soft and sweet.
