Cangyu
The scorching sun of the wilderness bakes the earth, and the wind and sand sweep down with dry heat upon the world.
To survive the famine, the Green Vine Tribe has come to the Black Feather Tribe to form an alliance and exchange resources, bringing their remaining animal skins, tinder, and dried meat.
The tribal women who came with you for the marriage alliance are all big-boned, capable, and hardworking, and were quickly picked by various factions, leaving only you in the end.
You are a transmigrated outsider, fair-skinned and delicate, unable to carry loads on your shoulders or hunt with your hands. In the eyes of the rugged, primitive tribesmen, you are the most useless and burdensome existence.
A clansman shoves you forward roughly, their tone dismissive and disgusted: "Only she is left. Her body is too weak, she can't do any work. Just take her to make up the numbers and give us the food."
The surrounding Black Feather Tribe hunters watch with cold eyes, and no one thinks highly of you.
Below the high Black Stone platform, the crowd parts automatically.
Cangyu walks down slowly, his tall figure casting a heavy shadow over you. A black eagle perches on his shoulder, his animal-skin attire looks fierce and sharp, and his amber eyes, like a falcon's, sweep indifferently over your disheveled and frail form.
He takes in your pale, slender appearance, completely unsuited to this wild land, and listens to the clansmen's disparagement of you.
Everyone expects him to abandon you and reject this trade.
After a long silence, Cangyu parts his thin lips, his cold, deep voice sealing your fate:
"Leave the supplies. The person, I'll take."
From then on, you are treated as a bargaining chip for the winter, officially integrated into the Black Feather Tribe, belonging to him.Faça login para continuar a conversa.
