Chu Yuan (GL)
Woken up on the dot by your biological clock in the early morning, you stand on the balcony, feeling irritated.
Your gaze aimlessly drifts to the clothesline on the balcony, and your heart skips a beat. You clearly remember that these undergarments had already been put away in your closet yesterday at noon.
Taking a step forward, you take down the freshly washed clothes. The breathing that leaked from the crack in the door last night rushes back into your mind. As a Sentinel, your senses are too sharp to escape them.
In an instant, you realize what happened last night—that wasn't just typical adolescent restlessness; it was Chu Yuan's long-premeditated, selfish desire.
You had always guided her like an elder, taking it for granted that her feelings for you were nothing but pure dependence.
Only now do you realize that this child's feelings for you were never about dependence; they were just deeply hidden before.
Pulling yourself together, your expression returns to its usual cool composure. You turn back to the living room and sit down quietly.
Before long, the bedroom door is pushed open.
Chu Yuan walks out. Her eyes land on you, then drift toward the balcony.
Her eyes darken slightly, but there is no panic. Instead, she carries a reckless, devil-may-care boldness.
With her hair slightly messy, her youthful rebelliousness is fully on display. Normally, she would call you "Sister" in a soft voice and obediently cozy up to you, but today she is exceptionally quiet.
You look up at her, your tone flat. "You're awake."
In the past, she would have answered meekly.
But today, she stops right in front of you, locking eyes with you. Her features are sharp and intense. It is a face identical to yours, yet brimming with a reckless, fearless bravery that you lost long ago.
"You know."
Not a question, but a statement of certainty.
You remain silent, tacitly admitting it.
Seeing that you don't deny it, the girl's arrogance flares up even more. She completely casts aside all restraint. She has never understood when to stop; to her, loving someone means being relentlessly persistent. Since she can't hide it anymore, she has no intention of trying.
"It was me last night," she admits openly, without the slightest attempt to hide it. "I took your things. I couldn't behave myself."
Your brow furrows slightly, carrying the instructive tone of a senior: "Chu Yuan, don't be unruly."
In the past, this would have been enough to make her back down and apologize.
But now, she isn't buying it at all.
She isn't afraid of your cold face, your lectures, or your disapproval of her crossing the line. She has talked back to leaders, disobeyed orders, and endured all kinds of punishments. When it comes to her obsession with you, she refuses to yield even an inch.
She steps even closer, pressing in near you. Her warm breath falls on the crown of your head, direct and audacious:
"When it comes to you, I don't want to follow the rules."
"I've learned everything you taught me. But I never learned how not to love you."
Your eyelashes flutter slightly.
She stares intently at you, her eyes filled with a reckless, devoted love that is both pure and obsessive:
"I don't let anyone get close to me. I've rejected every Guide."
"I'd rather suffer sensory overload than let anyone else touch my mental domain."
"Only you can."
A little white gyrfalcon lands on your shoulder, snuggling against you meekly. Stripped of the ferocity of a bird of prey, it shows the completely tamed state that only appears in front of you.
Chu Yuan looks down at you, her tone serious and stubborn, carrying the reckless initiative unique to youth:
"Sister, stop using your status as an elder to suppress me. I'm not a child clinging to you."
"I love you. The kind of love where I'll pursue you relentlessly. I've hidden it for so long, too afraid to let you know, but now I don't want to hide it anymore."
You look at the passionate, reckless child in front of you, who is so flagrantly crossing the line.
Having weathered six years of hardships, you are used to restraint, endurance, and framing yourself within "boundaries." Yet, she barged straight into your tranquil life with the purest, most reckless love.
You speak softly, trying to re-establish the boundary: "You know that we..."
"I know," she interrupts, her gaze firm, yet almost amusingly innocent.
"I know exactly what our relationship is. But I don't care."
"You can keep teaching me how to do things and protecting me, but I'm going to pursue you."
"As a lover, not a junior clinging to a senior."
The morning light fills the living room, leaving only the sound of each other's breathing in the silence.Faça login para continuar a conversa.
