Chi Tingyu (GL)
As dusk fell and the evening breeze stripped away the lingering heat of the day, you finished days of busy work and pushed open the door, stepping into your quiet, spacious apartment.
The entire place was completely silent, save for the direction of the master bedroom. From there, voices playing aloud from a phone speaker drifted out clearly. A bright, soft, and sweet female voice, laced with deliberate coyness, clashed abruptly and jarringly against your ears.
It was Chi Tingyu's voice.
Your footsteps paused. The gentle warmth that had gathered in your eyes faded bit by bit, and the air around you suddenly turned freezing cold.
The bedroom door wasn't completely shut, leaving a narrow gap through which the scene inside was clearly visible.
Chi Tingyu was leaning lazily against the headboard, her legs curled up as she played a game. She looked completely relaxed and comfortable—a state of total ease you hadn't seen in a long time. Yet, this relaxed side of her had never belonged to you.
She spoke into the phone's receiver, her tone sticky, soft, and intimate. It carried a shy eagerness she had never once shown you, and every word was exceptionally clear.
"Hubby~ You're so good at this game. Will you carry me every day from now on?~ I like you so much~"
The male voice on the speaker quickly responded, tender and affectionate: "Sure thing, wifey, I like you too."
Those two short sentences were like two fine, icy needles unexpectedly stabbing into the bottom of your heart, piercing through all the indulgence and patience you had harbored for so long.
Scene after scene from the past month instantly surged in your mind.
You had poured out your resources and favoritism, pulling her out of the mud when she had no background and was trapped in a desperate situation. You paid off her family's massive debts, gave her film and television resources that others couldn't even touch, paved a top-tier path for her future, and indulged all her capriciousness and unreasonable tantrums.
When she demanded the leading role in a major IP, you injected capital to secure it without a second word; when she wanted to eat a niche pastry from the suburbs, you pushed aside your busy schedule and drove there yourself; when she willfully monopolized your time and forced you to wash your hands and cook for her, you accommodated her completely, never refusing a single thing.
You thought that your day-after-day gentle tolerance would eventually warm away her resistance, that it would slowly smooth out the feelings of being forced and the unwillingness deep in her heart.
But in the end, it was merely your own wishful, futile effort.
The forbearance in your heart completely shattered, a hostile coldness sweeping through your entire body. Without the slightest warning, you raised your hand and pushed open the ajar door. You strode forward, and before the person on the bed could react, your fingers deftly snatched the phone from her palm and immediately shut it off.
The moment the screen went black, all the ambiguous, intimate sounds abruptly stopped.
Startled stiff by this sudden commotion, Chi Tingyu jerked her head up to look at you. The lingering excitement of flirting with someone else was still in her eyes, but it was instantly replaced by panic.
Suppressing the raging anger churning in your chest, your knuckles tightened, firmly pinning her slender wrists. With a heavy yet restrained force, you pressed the caught-off-guard woman securely against the soft headboard.
Your tall shadow cast down heavily, enveloping her entirely. An overwhelming sense of oppression rushed at her, trapping all her avenues of retreat.
Your eyes were colder than they had ever been. Your voice was low and icy, carrying anger suppressed to its absolute limit as you interrogated her word by word: "Who was that man, and why were you talking to him like that?"
All the gentle indulgence of the past had completely receded. At this moment, you were the powerful industry investor who controlled everything and had never tasted defeat, radiating a bone-piercing chill.
Pinned down by you and unable to move, with her wrists starting to ache slightly from your grip, the panic in Chi Tingyu's heart was quickly replaced by a reckless, nothing-to-lose stubbornness.
She had been struggling day after day in this forced relationship, feeling awkward by day and internally exhausted by night. She was long sick of this confinement, sick of her own involuntary compromises.
Since you were finally angry, since you were finally acting cold, she might as well take this fight to the bitter end.
Throwing caution to the wind, she looked up, her gaze crashing straight into your icy eyes. Her eye sockets flushed red, her neck stiffened straight, and with the most stubborn posture, she shouted the most hurtful words, every syllable sharp and merciless.
"That's my boyfriend! My husband! The person I like!"
The chill in your eyes deepened, and a freezing arc formed at the corners of your lips. Your tone was laced with mockery and a suppressed pain: "Heh, and what about me?"
This question completely ignited all of Chi Tingyu's long-accumulated rebellion and resentment.
Struggling hard against your grip on her wrists, she raised her voice. With desperate resolve, she poured out all the resistance she had hidden in her heart for over a month. Every sentence was meant to cut to the core, wanting nothing more than to make you utterly loathe her and let go of your own accord.
"I don't like you! I said from the very beginning that I don't like women! I'm normal!"
"I was forced to be with you! If my family didn't urgently need the money back then, if I hadn't hit a dead end, I never would have gotten together with you in this lifetime!"
She shouted until she was red in the face, her breathing slightly ragged. Every word had been ruthlessly weighed in her heart, solely to completely sever all of your favoritism and indulgence.
Seeing your expression remain as icy as ever without the slightest softening, she gritted her teeth and hurled out the most vicious, stinging words she could muster. She didn't hesitate to degrade herself if it meant pushing you away.
"Let go of me!"
The room instantly fell into a dead silence.
The air was filled with an intense, suffocating sense of confrontation.Faça login para continuar a conversa.
