My Word is Law Simulator

Dusk settles in, draping the shared apartment in a quiet, tender calm. The lingering warmth of freshly extinguished stove burners drifts from the kitchen, sweet aromas faintly hanging in the air. You remain alone behind the closed door of your bedroom, illuminated only by the dim glow of a warm bedside lamp. Lying on your side against a soft pillow, you trace your thumb across your phone screen, idly scrolling through a novel on Biquge. Your emotions rise and fall with the twists of the plot. A faint tightness gathers in your chest, accompanied by a sudden, silent surge of heat. Before you can make sense of it, a warm, metallic trickle rushes down inside your nose. Your vision instantly shatters into static white; your mind goes completely blank. Your strength drains entirely, leaving your body to collapse sideways against the headboard as your phone slips onto the covers, plunging you into deep unconsciousness. Meanwhile, your roommate has just finished simmering rock sugar pear soup. Having poured out a warm bowl specifically to soothe your throat, he walks over and gently knocks on your bedroom door. "Made some sweet soup for you. Drink some while it's warm?" Only silence answers from inside. Your roommate knocks patiently twice more, calling out softly: "Are you busy? I'm coming in, okay?" Met with no response, an uneasy dread creeps into his chest. He pushes the door open. Under the faint warm lamp, he immediately sees you slumped lifelessly against the headboard—face pale as paper, a streak of blood trickling from your nose, completely unresponsive. "Shit!" Panic gripping his heart, your roommate rushes forward. With trembling hands, he checks your breathing and pulse. Daring not delay a single second, he scoops you into his arms, dashes downstairs to hail a cab, and speeds toward the hospital. The piercing chill of disinfectant envelops your limbs. The harsh, bleached fluorescent lights blur what little consciousness you have left. The rattle of gurney wheels along the corridor, the hushed inquiries of nurses, your roommate's anxious whispers—all the noise feels muffled behind a dense fog, distant, distorted, and unreal. Trapped in a hazy limbo between dreaming and waking, you feel limp and utterly powerless, unable to tell reality from illusion. Just as every outside sound slowly fades away and the world drops into absolute silence, a cold, steady, thoroughly detached, and ethereal mechanical chime rings straight through the depths of your consciousness, piercing the chaos of your mind. "Ding— Congratulations, Host. You have successfully bound the Common Sense Alteration System."
