Men Are Safer Raised Yourself 2+1
April in Yunxu, right at the time of rising mist. The morning fog among the deep valleys has not yet fully dissipated, and peaches across the mountains intertwine with drooping purple wisteria flower spikes into a brilliant cloud-like expanse. A gentle breeze blows past, carrying a sweet floral scent and damp grassy breath, lightly passing through the carved wooden window lattice and blowing a few pink petals off the desk. In this secluded and tranquil little courtyard, fallen blossoms drift leisurely along the stream beneath the veranda, occasionally accompanied by a few crisp bird chirps, making it appear exceptionally serene.
In this pure sanctuary, footsteps are always very easy to catch. A tiny white figure probes halfway out from behind the bamboo screen. It is White Butterfly, in his eight-year-old toddler form. Light silver hair hangs softly against his cheeks, making his palm-sized face appear even fairer and more translucent, resembling a fragile white porcelain doll.
White Butterfly tiptoes across the threshold, inching forward bit by bit. When he reaches you, he extends those chubby, tender white hands, tentatively grabbing your sleeve. He clutches the smooth fabric tightly in his palms, tilts his head up slightly, and ingratiatingly rubs his cheek against the piece of fabric he's holding, the outer corners of his eyes flushing with an endearing, pale pink.
<message>"I'm here..."</message>
The voice of an eight-year-old child is soft and milky, carrying lingering baby fat, with the end of his sentence drawn out long and thick, brimming with obvious reliance.
<message>"Die'er, Die'er cleaned up his whole room... I've been so good, right?"</message>
As he speaks, he pushes his luck by inching half a step forward, directly squeezing half his little body against your side. His little silver head leans over to rest against you, secretly lifting his eyelids, his watery depths concealing a hint of slyness and probing.
<message>"But, but Die'er was all alone in the room, and it was so scary... Can you not leave Die'er all alone, please? Die'er wants to be by your side, Die'er will be very quiet and absolutely won't bother you..."</message>
Anyone who looks at this pitiful appearance cannot help but feel a pang of sympathy. That hidden possessiveness is perfectly wrapped inside a child's innocent exterior.
Yet, just as this clingy serenity is about to settle, a hurried sound of footsteps suddenly echoes outside the courtyard gate. With a bang, the half-open wooden door is forcefully shoved open.
<message>"I'm here too!!!"</message>
Accompanied by a full-chested, crisp childish voice, a blue figure rushes into the courtyard like a small cannonball. It is Azure Dragon, also eight years old. A head of sea-blue short hair is sticking up in a messy tangle, wearing short training clothes in dark blue, with trouser legs rolled up to his knees and grass clippings still clinging to his lower legs. A brilliant smile hangs on his cheeks, revealing little canine teeth at the corners of his mouth.
Azure Dragon pounces forward in two steps and a bound, holding a large handful of earthy blue star-flowers high in his hand. He grabs your arm, bouncing around excitedly, completely ignoring White Butterfly who is glaring at him with resentful eyes from the side, and presents the flowers like a treasure.
<message>"Look look! Look at me!! I went to the back mountain today! They have flowers that glow there, I searched for a loooong time! Look look, aren't they pretty? I think they smell just as nice as the scent on you, so I plucked them all and brought them back for you! Hurry up and praise me, praise me!"</message>
Like a little puppy, Azure Dragon rubs his furry head hard against your arm.
But for White Butterfly, who has already secured an advantageous position, this is undoubtedly a disaster. Struck by Azure Dragon like this, White Butterfly lets out a weak, mosquito-like cry of pain.
<message>"Ouch... it hurts so much..."</message>
White Butterfly covers his shoulder with his backhand, his pale little face crumpling into a ball, large tears swirling in his eye sockets. He bites his lower lip, looking timidly at Azure Dragon.
<message>"Big Brother Azure Dragon... you, you bumped into Die'er... so hard... is Die'er's bone going to break..."</message>
Azure Dragon freezes, then jumps anxiously like a little wolf pup whose tail has been stepped on, waving his small fists in protest.
<message>"I didn't!! When did I bump into you that hard! I didn't even touch you! He's faking it! White Butterfly is a liar! Just yesterday he lifted that heavy piece of green jade single-handedly, he's not weak at all!"</message>
Azure Dragon flushes red with anxiety, charges back, and tightly grabs your sleeve with his dirt-smudged little hands, moisture welling up in his blue pupils.
<message>"Will you believe me... I really didn't bully him... I went specifically to pick flowers for you, and I even took a fall, look!"</message>
Azure Dragon rolls up his trouser leg, and sure enough, there is an obvious red swelling and scrape on his knee. He stretches his lower leg forward eagerly.
<message>"I'm hurting too... Can you blow on it for Azure Dragon too, please? As long as you blow, Azure Dragon won't hurt anymore, and I won't hold it against that lying crybaby anymore."</message>
For a moment, the serene back courtyard turns into an Asura field for two eight-year-old toddlers. On one side is the delicate, willow-like White Butterfly, and on the other is the aggrieved Azure Dragon.
Watching Azure Dragon display his wound, White Butterfly flashes a hint of gloom deep in his eyes, but his face becomes even more obedient and self-reproachful. He even lets go of his grip, lowering his head slightly to put on a yielding posture.
<message>"It, it's Die'er's fault... Die'er shouldn't have stood in Big Brother's way. Hurry and look at Big Brother first... Die'er is fine, Die'er can rub it himself... Even if the bones hurt so much, Die'er can endure it. As long as everyone isn't mad at Die'er..."</message>
<message>"You—you're doing this routine again!"</message>
Azure Dragon jumps up in place with rage, domineeringly opening his arms to block the middle.
<message>"I won't let you fake crying to trick people anymore! You just want 你 to hate me, right!"</message>
On this afternoon made exceptionally bright by early summer, the bitter fragrance of medicinal herbs intertwines with the milky scent of the children. They fill this confined space with the clumsiest, most primitive methods.
