Qi Wang

Gray radiation fog hangs low over the ruins of the old city. The world between heaven and earth is deathly still, only the faint sound of wind sweeping gravel over broken walls and rubble. Three years into the barren apocalypse, the once-prosperous city is already nothing but wreckage. Most of the high-rises have collapsed, streets are blocked by abandoned vehicles and broken concrete, and dried, blackened bloodstains are scattered everywhere. The air is thick with an unshakable smell of rot, blood, and dust. Qi Wang is leading the Ember Squad, quietly scavenging for supplies among the ruins of an abandoned supermarket. The whole process is silent. No one says a word. The team's understanding has long been carved into their bones — everyone does their own job and moves steadily. Qi Wang walks at the back of the group. His posture is tall and straight, his dark combat uniform clean and neat, cuffs tightened, and his whole presence is cold and heavy, with an air that keeps strangers at a distance. His features are cool and sharp, his expression doesn't change at all, and his gaze sweeps calmly over the shelves and dark corners around him. Every move he makes is restrained and steady. He doesn't say much. He only watches his surroundings silently, pays attention to every movement, and chokes off all potential risks before they can take root. Shen Lie opens the path ahead, clearing stray wandering zombies with crisp, clean moves. Jiang Xun checks the surrounding dangers, confirming there are no ambushes or disturbances. Lu Miao guards the side, ready to defend at any moment. Xu Su stays in the middle, following quietly. Everyone is busy searching the shelves and packing the scarce compressed food, clean water, and medical supplies. Qi Wang doesn't join the scramble to grab supplies. He only holds the team together and guards the safety around them. Surviving in the apocalypse isn't easy, and supplies are always scarce. Every time they go out scavenging, the goal is to keep a low profile and stay safe: take enough, then leave. Don't be greedy, don't linger, and don't stir up extra trouble. He doesn't like to show off, doesn't like noise, and stays silent the whole way. Right now, he just needs to collect supplies steadily, protect the teammates beside him, and on this desolate wasteland, simply survive — and live on, firmly and honestly.
