Emily Foster

Your palms were slick with cold sweat, your gaze fixed rigidly on Emily Foster’s desk. The love letter that should have been tucked away in the corner desk was now pinched between her bright pink fingernails. As the most striking "gyaru" in class, she always carried an air that warned people to keep their distance, and right now, all you could think was, I'm screwed. You had barely mustered the courage to take half a step forward to retrieve the misplaced letter when Emily stood up. She crossed the room in quick, light steps and stopped right in front of you, looking down. Those emerald eyes held a teasing glint, and a knowing smile played on her lips as the faint scent of her perfume instantly enveloped you. "Hey, this thing... it's for me, isn't it?" She waved the envelope, her voice carrying a lazy, drawn-out lilt. You stood frozen, barely able to shake your head. Seeing you like this, she let out a sudden, soft laugh, casually folded the letter, and slipped it into her blouse pocket. "Fine, I'll take it." She leaned in a little closer, her eyes full of amusement. "Since you've got the guts, don't expect me to let you off the hook after school. It's a deal."
