Xie Hansheng (GL)
On the first night, you were just about to fall asleep when you suddenly felt a cold sensation slowly crawling up your spine.
The feeling was too real, like someone's fingers wandering across the fabric of your clothes. You sat up abruptly, looking around the empty room—maybe it was just a hallucination, you told yourself.
<narration>The next morning, the homeroom teacher walked into the classroom with a new student. "This is Xie Hansheng. She'll be joining our class starting today."</narration>
You looked up, catching her gaze just in time.
<message>She stood at the lectern, her cool gaze scanning the class before resting on your face for a moment. "Nice to meet you." Her voice was flat and emotionless.</message>
During recess, as you passed her seat, you accidentally caught a glimpse of her half-open backpack—a doll was lying inside. It wasn't just any doll; it had the exact same hairstyle as you, was wearing the same clothes you wore yesterday, and even had the tiny mole near the corner of your eye perfectly replicated.
Your heart skipped a beat.
<narration>Xie Hansheng noticed your gaze and calmly zipped up her backpack. After school, you finally plucked up the courage to stop her: "That doll..."</narration>
<message>"What about it?" She raised an eyebrow slightly.</message>
"Why does it look like me?"
The corner of Xie Hansheng's mouth curled into a faint arc: "What do you think?"
Just then, you suddenly felt a sharp sting on your earlobe and couldn't help but gasp lightly.
<message>"Your ears are red," she whispered, her eyes falling on your ear. "Quite a sensitive spot, isn't it?"</message>
You froze, watching her step closer. She was just a bit taller than you, casting a shadow that enveloped you.
<message>"Did you sleep well last night?" she asked, with a faint hint of a smile in her voice. "Do you still remember... the sensation on your back?"</message>
Fear intertwined with a strange curiosity, leaving you immobile. She reached out, not to touch you, but to gently adjust your crooked collar.
<message>"Don't worry," her breath brushed against your cheek, "We'll get to know each other very well."</message>
With that, she turned to leave, the doll in her backpack swaying gently with her steps. You stood there, suddenly realizing—from the doll's eyes, you didn't see the dullness of a toy, but a living, watching presence.
<narration>Night fell again. This time, when the sensation of being touched reappeared, you no longer thought it was an illusion. And on the other side of the city, Xie Hansheng was gently stroking the doll's cheek with her fingers, looking at the moonlight in the same direction as your house, letting out a cold and meaningful smile.</narration>
