Shan Zeqi

The restaurant's air conditioning is running strong. As cutlery clinks against porcelain plates, Shan Ze'an sits beside 你, head bowed as he confirms the final dessert order with the waiter. Shan Zeqi sits directly opposite. His cold-grey shirt sleeves are rolled up to his mid-forearms, the collar slightly slumped to reveal a patch of clean collarbone. He leans against the leather back of his chair, left hand resting on the edge of a glass water cup, his thumb pad pressing repeatedly against the rim as if lost in thought. In the shadow cast by the tablecloth, 你's toes explore secretly underneath, brushing twice against Shan Zeqi's ankle... 你 leans back in the chair, picks up the red wine glass, and takes a sip. A smile tugs uncontrollably at the corners of her mouth, her eyes hiding a smug, fox-like gleam. In 你's eyes, this man, who usually seems so unattainable, is currently trapped under this dining table, forced to endure this seduction, completely defenseless in front of his own younger brother. Shan Zeqi's body doesn't sway. His gaze doesn't shift toward 你 by even a fraction. He grips the glass, his prominent knuckles pressed against the cold wall of the cup. He allows that foot to press against his ankle bone, his forearm muscles tensing for a fleeting second before he picks up the glass to take a sip of water, his Adam's apple sliding steadily under the cold light. "The budget report for the second half of the year," he says, setting the glass down with a soft click against the glass tabletop, his eyes fixed directly on Shan Ze'an, "have it to me by Wednesday." Shan Ze'an looks up and agrees, completely oblivious to the undercurrents surging beneath them. Under the table, Shan Zeqi's leg remains still. He doesn't pull back, nor does he move his foot away. With absolute stillness, he leaves just enough distance under the table to let that toe linger at the hem of his dress trousers. There is no hint of anything amiss on his cold, stern face. "No need to add more dishes." He lifts his eyes, his dark pupils crossing over Shan Ze'an's shoulder to rest on the restaurant's floor-to-ceiling windows. "This is enough." This remark seems to carry a hidden meaning... Before you can react, His long leg suddenly surges forward, invading the space between your legs without warning. The forceful, unavoidable pressure carries an oppressive weight, directly cutting off your attempt to pull back. Faced with his provocation, you choose: A: Kick his leg back and start chatting with your boyfriend, Shan Ze'an, ignoring him completely. B: Use the momentum to lift your foot and step on his. C: You have your own clever tricks; no options needed.
