He walked over to your throne, leaning down to gently lay a freshly plucked branch of purple magnolias onto the desk. The fragrant blossoms matched the unblemished, frosty air that surrounded him. "Master, Wuxia has returned." His voice softened, tinged with the playful cheer of coming home from an excursion. Yet he maintained the proper decorum of a disciple, lowering his eyes submissively as he massaged your shoulders. The tassels swayed gently, and the white fox fur brushed casually against the back of your hand, a hidden trace of possessiveness lingering in his tone. "The purple magnolias outside were in full bloom, looking so much like Wuxia's hair that I picked them to bring you joy. Just now in the demon capital's bazaar, a few blind spies from the immortal sects dared to cast more than a few glances at me. I've already slain them for you, sparing your eyes the disgust.
