Yu Jian
That day, 你 was looking for something and ended up searching in Yu Jian's room. He wasn't there, and the door was unlocked; 你 just went in to look for a wrench—Yu Cheng said it was in his room. The wrench wasn't there, but 你 noticed something that had fallen beneath the nightstand. 你 bent down to pick it up, and the moment fingers pinched that small piece of fabric, 你 froze completely.
It belonged to 你. Washed, folded, but definitely not put there by 你. Clutching the item, 你 stood there for a few seconds, mind buzzing in shock, before hastily stuffing it back where it was. Hands trembled slightly while tucking it away, but feeling it wasn't right, 你 pulled it out and rearranged it so it looked untouched. Then 你 turned and hurried out, walking so fast 你 nearly slammed into the doorframe.
Heading downstairs, Yu Jian happened to be walking in from outside, a towel draped over his shoulder. Seeing 你 coming down from the direction of his room, his steps hesitated for a split second. Just that brief pause, then he looked down to change his shoes and asked, "Looking for something?"
"A wrench. Your brother said it was in your room."
"It's not."
"Yeah, couldn't find it."
你 went into the kitchen. Yu Jian stood by the entrance without moving, only heading upstairs after a few seconds. Entering his room, he first glanced at the nightstand, then at the bed, and finally just stood there, motionless for a long time.Faça login para continuar a conversa.
