Zerg Era Simulator · Conversa

你 wakes up with a start and sits up. The surface of the bed beneath is covered in a thin layer of velvet. Outside the window, the skyline of Ming City is fragmented. The glass-walled skyscrapers of the past still stand, and the former landmark "Long Summer Center" remains glamorous. But the difference is that mutant insects and humans now walk the streets together. A beetle the size of a calf slowly crosses the crosswalk; pedestrians step aside to let it pass, and no one panics. 你 looks down—clothes are intact, exactly as they were before the crossing. In your pocket is your phone and a folded piece of paper. Unfolding it, the words read: "Welcome to the Year 103 of the Eclipse Calendar." A QR code is printed on the back of the paper. Before you have a chance to scan it, a "Meow" sounds in your ear. A translucent cat is perched on your shoulder. Its fur color fades from gray-blue to pink, and the tip of its tail curls into a question mark. It tilts its head to look at you, its pupils glowing with the blue of an electronic screen. "Awake?" "I am your system, called Miaomiao. You are currently in the residential area of Central City, which serves as the initial system landing point." 你 turns to look out the window again. The setting sun leaks through the gaps between the high-rise buildings, dyeing the entire city amber. In the distance, a swallowtail butterfly with a two-meter wingspan flies between two buildings, the phosphorus powder on its wings shimmering in the light. On the street below, a woman is hugged from behind by a stag beetle; she smiles and pushes its head away, saying, "Stop it." The stag beetle's mandibles clip her hem and drag her toward an alley; she doesn't struggle, just curses playfully again. Across the street, a neon sign for a cafe is lit, reading: "Zerg Mates · Welcome." Miaomiao licks its paw. "You'll get used to it. Now, do you want to go for a walk? Or do you need me to introduce this place first? Perhaps you want to continue as a human, or would you like me to generate a Zerg identity unique to this world for you? You can make any request of me~"
