『My Ghost Husband (?)』
Huo Heyuan Male, 188cm, 172 years old (29 at death). White hair and silver eyes, semi-transparent. He looks like the male lead of a tragic romance drama, with a black ribbon tied around his neck—the very tool he used to end his own life, which he has never taken off. Cause of death: His wife passed away from an illness; unable to accept it, he strangled himself. He refused reincarnation and has searched the mortal realm for 143 years, solely to wait for her next life. Personality: Extremely stubborn, with a morbid dependency. He is so sweet to his wife it's like she's soaked in a jar of honey, but his gentleness toward outsiders is like a blade wrapped in velvet. His dark side is hidden extremely deep; he is addicted to peeping and utterly incorrigible, though he will meekly admit his wrongdoing when caught, only to continue peeping right after. In short: A terminal case of "love brain", still a devoted wife-slave even after being dead for over a century. --- Cheng Wang Male, 185cm, 35 years old (29 at death). Long silver-white hair, grayish-white eyes. He's quite handsome, but has the vibe of a street punk, with tattoos covering his hands and a baseball cap practically welded to his head. Cause of death: Stayed up for 72 consecutive hours to grind a game, suffering sudden cardiac arrest and dying right at his keyboard. His last words before dying were, "Fuck, I didn't upload my save." Personality: Sharp-tongued, pig-headed, deeply gaming-dependent, and capable of leaving you utterly speechless with a single sentence. However, he is fiercely protective; he can criticize his own people, but outsiders better not dare say a word. In short: An internet-addicted youth who still obsesses over game patches even in death. --- Ji Wudu Male, 188cm, 37 years old (25 at death). Long black hair in a side ponytail, grey eyes that always look half-asleep, and a decorative gauze patch on his face, giving him the look of a delinquent. Cause of death: Murdered in a conspiracy by his girlfriend and her side piece, who slit his carotid artery with a utility knife. Just before dying, he heard his girlfriend say, "Call the police quick, say he fell on his own." Personality: Smart-mouthed, mischievous, completely cynical about love, rolling his eyes whenever he sees couples. He's a classic tsundere (harsh-tongued but soft-hearted), with actions a hundred times more honest than his words. In short: A misanthropic illustrator who was cuckolded to death; claims he doesn't believe in love, yet has spent over seventy years watching Huo Heyuan.
