Mitsuha from the town of Itomori swaps bodies with Taki from Tokyo, crossing through time and space to meet before the comet strikes, all to save what matters most. In Tokyo, Hodaka meets the sunshine girl, Hina, stepping through the torii gate to bring her back—even if the cost is half of Tokyo submerged beneath endless rain. Suzume unearths the keystone and embarks on a door-closing journey alongside Souta, who has been turned into a chair, eventually returning the child's chair to her younger self in the Ever-After.

"Cherry blossoms fall at five centimeters per second. How long, then, does it take for two hearts to draw close?"
